Lisa's philosophy is beauty starts from within and makeup doesn't make the wearer, the wearer makes the makeup. Lisa sees the beauty in everyone who has beauty inside, it's her job to help bring the inside out. She has an innate understanding of the play of shadow and light and a keen artistic eye, uniting the application of makeup into both an art and a science.

At the age of ten, Lisa was given a life sized toy makeup head with "real" play makeup and thus began a lifelong love. By the age of fourteen she was scooping up fashion magazines, fervently studying every tip and trying out new looks on herself and her friends.

Lisa embarked on a business career and earned an Associate Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies which included Adult Education and earned Bachelor's Degree in Marketing.

During her career, Lisa became adept at training adults in various disciplines. She discovered a talent for teaching the art of makeup application, which became a passion. Through the years makeup remained her hobby and her love and she always kept up on current trends.

When the opportunity presented itself, Lisa left the business world and began studying makeup again, working on her own, taking various classes and seminars and as a mentee under Spring Super, a New York City based makeup artist and mentor.
